Black hat, white hat and gray hat SEO

Search engines optimization(SEO)can take many different "hats". The color of the hat is only determined by the philosophy and methods used in SEO to optimize websites. Usually, we talk about:
• Black Hat SEO
• White Hat SEO
• Grey Hat SEO
It is important to understand the difference between risk and hat SEO only as a member.


Black Hat SEO:

Black Hat SEO is also known as SEO spam is when someone creates websites that have little or no value, they intend to deceive the search engines to provide search results irrelevant or low quality .
Black Hat SEO uses a sound technology and automation to create thousands of low quality sites and get inbound links from other sites (link spam). Once the visitor has come to the site, site owners often use some form of concealment or redirection to show visitors to a page with product sales, the goal of Black Hat SEO techniques truth.
Black Hat SEO is about to get quick results. The method used to optimize their sites often the site of the best search engines very quickly, but when the search engines catch, site often crashes or banned.
Black Hat SEO is intolerant of subsidiaries that SEO is very risky, and in particular, can be damaged if used on a website that has invested heavily in resources.

White Hat SEO:

White Hat SEO is focused on creating high quality content and the second listing. When using white hat SEO tactics is absolutely no risk of being banned by search engines and visitors to your website is also more likely to convert.

Grey Hat SEO:

Many SEO fall into the category of gray hat, and there are many shades of gray. Some Grey Hat SEO tend to use questionable tactics and take more risks. Grey Hat SEO is all about risk and reward. Gray hat techniques can be frowned upon by search engines, but not necessarily against the rules, while other techniques may be more risky and should only be used after careful consideration.

The hat you choose to use must be determined by your goals and objectives. My advice is to never use black hat SEO strategies because these strategies are short-lived and often banned in search engines.
Everyone should strive to be a white hat SEO and focus is to write quality content. However, it might make sense to you, in some cases, the use of black hat SEO tactics to gain competitive advantage. However, when using gray hat SEO tactics are very important measures such as risk and reward of each strategy and decide for yourself if one of those gray hat SEO strategies makes sense for their websites .
But it is important to never take the risk on large sites, which is much more valuable to have insurance for them and a long-term SEO.
